Held in April or May, this banquet is always a lot of fun. Professor of the year is announced and great prizes awarded in the yearly raffle.
This event is held every October as part of the University's Family Weekend. Be sure to invite your family early so they can mark it on their calendars. A variety of presentations will be shared by members of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Enjoy refreshments and maybe even get your hearing screened. This is a good chance for students and their families to meet other students and members of the department, take a tour of the clinic and classroom, learn about the fields of speech pathology and audiology, and ask questions.
Contact the department office at (309) 438-8643 for more information about these events.
