Strong Undergraduate and Graduate Programs with Clinical Focus. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University offers a strong academic experience at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

  • We offer a Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Many of our undergraduate courses are taught in a lecture/lab format to provide students with as much hands-on experience possible at the undergraduate level.
  • At the graduate level, we offer a master’s degree in Speech Pathology and a Clinical Doctoral Degree in Audiology. Required courses are supplemented by a fast growing list of electives providing students with a broad knowledge base. In addition, our program features one of the largest speech, language, and hearing clinics located in the Midwest, which is located on campus.
